Article marketing with article submission software has long been a great way of getting your articles published online, and generating traffic to your webs sites. When we first started using this technique to drive traffic, it used to work like the cowboys in the wild west – rounding up hoards of traffic and driving it all directly at your site. Publish a few articles and you could be pretty much guaranteed to get traffic. But the new duplicate filters the search engines started using recently suddenly made the old way of article marketing much less effective.
But there’s a new way of article marketing (or bum marketing) now that avoids the duplicate content issues completely – and puts us right back in the gold rush days again. The reason why the old way stopped working as well was that by submitting your articles to all those directories (whether you did it manually or used automated article submission software) was that each directory got the exact same version of your article. So there were tens or hundreds of the same article duplicated all over the net.
Each copy of your article counted as a new and unique backlink to your site, and more backlinks means better rankings in the search engines. Better rankings in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) means more traffic to your site.
Back in the good ole days (just a couple of years ago) the article marketing technique worked wonders. But with the new duplicate content filters, the search engines are literally filtering out all your published articles and storing only the first copy they find.
But all is not lost – what we need now is an article submission system that can create totally unique versions of our articles before it submits them to the directories. But the method it uses to create each unique article must ensure a quality and readable version is created every time – not some spammy looking synonym replacement system that produces totally unreadable content. It needs to be reader friendly and search engine friendly all at the same time.
If that software could also submit our article to several hundred different article directories as well then, and use a different version of our resource box on each article (which would allow us to vary our anchor texts) that would really be the icing on the cake.
Well, the good news is that there is such a system now available. It has only recently been released as an answer to the duplicate content filters the search engines are now using, and it does everything we wanted above plus a whole load more besides. I’ve tested it out for the last few weeks and to be quite honest it’s way over delivered on all my expectations except one – and that is that the owners web site doesn’t really do it justice – it’s way more powerful than he lets on.
I have posted a more in depth review of the software on my website at http://www.octocat.com/unique-content-article-marketing/ which explains in greater detail how it works and why you need to get your hands on it as quickly as possible.
